Banned Books Week October 1-7, 2023

The Theresa and Edward O'Toole Library unveils an exhibit for Banned Books Week October 1-7. The exhibit highlights six of the top thirteen books challenged in 2022: The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie,  Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews, The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison, Out of Darkness by Ashley Hope Pérez, and Crank by Ellen Hopkins. Copies of the books, photographic portraits, quotes and published interviews with the authors are featured.
